RSPCA Australia Animal Valour Award

The RSPCA Australia Animal Valour Award was conceived in 1998
to preserve the integrity of the Purple Cross and introduce a
'second rung' national award. It acknowledges the performance of a
deed by an animal that displays exceptional courage in the face of
danger, thereby greatly benefiting a human or humans. Eight
animals have received the Animal Valour Award to date. Recipients
of the Award receive a certificate
If you know of an animal that has displayed exceptional courage
in the face of danger, thereby greatly benefiting a human or
humans and wish to nominate that animal for a RSPCA Australia
Animal Valour Award please contact
your local state or territory RSPCA.
