RSPCA Australia is the federal body of the eight autonomous state and territory RSPCAs in Australia. RSPCA Australia establishes national policies and positions on animal welfare and liaises with government and industry on national animal welfare issues.
There are eight state and territory Societies which are members of RSPCA Australia. They are:

RSPCA Darwin Regional Branch
RSPCA New South Wales
RSPCA Queensland
RSPCA South Australia
RSPCA Tasmania
RSPCA Victoria
RSPCA Western Australia
The National Council is made up from two representatives from each state and territory RSPCA. The current representatives to the council are:
