Many RSPCA shelters have veterinary staff. Veterinarians employed by the Society treat and care for all rescued or stray animals and those brought in by the public. They provide assistance to Branch Shelters and the Inspectorate, prepare animals for adoption, and in some instances provide a service to private clients. The veterinary clinic service offered to the general public is a valuable source of income for the RSPCA. Please refer to your state/territory for more information about the services that are available in your area.
