RSPCA Australia organises an annual, national scientific seminar which invites a panel of experts, industry representatives, and animal welfarists to discuss aspects of animal welfare. The topics for discussion over recent years include aquatic welfare, humane pest animal control, horse welfare, the future of companion animals, regulation and legislation of animal welfare, the role of science in animal welfare, and wildlife rehabilitation.
