Volunteers
|
The greatest strength of the RSPCA is the large number of
dedicated volunteers who are the driving force and back-bone of
the organisation. Each RSPCA must have a dedicated and reliable
volunteer force to enable it to meet an ever increasing public
demand for its services.
Volunteers are an integral part of all levels of RSPCA
operations - from National and State Councils to the occasional
gardener and everything in between. They assist in many ways
including caring for animals in the Shelters, assisting with
administrative tasks and helping out in Opportunity Shops. Many
more help out with special events, fundraising and promotions that
take place throughout the year.
The RSPCA could not function at such a high standard without
the vital assistance of its volunteers. If you would like more
information about becoming a volunteer please contact your local
RSPCA.
