There are many ways in which you can help the RSPCA, no matter how old you are.

You can help the RSPCA in your community:

  • Watching out for animals in your community;
  • Encouraging other kids not to be mean to animals;
  • Reporting animal cruelty to your parents or the RSPCA, if you see it happening;
  • Looking after your own pet by giving it attention, love, proper food and exercise;
  • Suggesting to your teacher you should be taught about caring for animals in class;
  • Ask your teacher to invite someone form your local RSPCA to come and speak at your school; and
  • Raising money for the RSPCA – talk to your parents or teachers for ideas.

The RSPCA is a charity and relies heavily on donations from the community. These donations help the RSPCA carry out its work, which is preventing cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection.

Perhaps you’d like to donate some of your pocket money to the RSPCA, or you could ask your family and friends to make donations instead of giving you a Christmas or birthday present?

The RSPCA also has lots of things you can buy, such as gifts and even membership to the Paw Prints Club – so these are presents you might like for Christmas or your birthday, that will also help the RSPCA at the same time!
