Policy statements
RSPCA Australia policy statements are a collection of
philosophical statements issued by RSPCA Australia on the proper
use of animals by humans. The statements are adopted or amended on
the unanimous vote of the RSPCA National Council, following
consultation with State and Territory RSPCA councils through their
National Councillors.

Position papers
In addition to policies, the RSPCA National Council also issues
position papers on particular issues of interest. These are
adopted or amended on the majority vote of the RSPCA National
Council. Policy statements may refer to a specific position paper.
Please note that consideration should be given to the date of
adoption or last review when determining the relevance of these
documents.
